Different from their previous Toscana leather series, this new leather is manufactured by Conceria 800 tannery in Tuscany, Italy. It has a more lustrous and distinct grain texture, giving the leather a polished and elegant touch. Each pen case is brought to you by the finest craftsmanship collaboratively from Italy and Japan, creating a durable organizer that will house your favorite pens for a life time. The durable brass zipper and the velvety inner layer of the Toscana leather will provide extra protection for your fine stationery.
Since each case is individually crafted from organic leather, no two pouches are the same. There will be individual differences in the color, thickness, and texture of the leather.
About The Superior Labor: Founded by former auto mechanic and leather artisan Makoto Kawai, this lifestyle brand crafts a variety of high-quality everyday tools that promote slow and intentional living. Kawai considers The Superior Labor as a natural extension of his experience working with cars, crafting leather goods, traveling, and curating vintage wares. All of The Superior Labor’s design and manufacturing takes place in a former elementary school campus in the rural and mountainous area of Kaga-gun, Okayama Prefecture, where Kawai lives and works.
