Winner of a Good Design Award in 2017, the Take A Note planner made its debut in 2015 and embraces a minimalist design philosophy that gives users the freedom to do what they wish with this planner while supporting them with well-designed backbone yearly, monthly, weekly and daily layouts.
Weekly Plan (Mini Weekly Calendar + Two Days Per Page)
While this planner comes with yearly, monthly, weekly and daily views, most of the pages of the planner fall into the "mini weekly calendar + two days per page vertical timeline" layout, which is an original feature of Take A Note. This layout allows you to view the week at a glance while also jotting down to-dos and events relevant to your specific day. Each day includes a 24 hour vertical timeline with blank grids at the top and bottom of the timeline; this section also includes features such as a mini weekly calendar and moon phases for each day.
Vertical Yearly Plan
The vertical yearly plan gives you an overall view for your half-year itinerary. The vertical planner can be helpful for planning long-term projects that span over months, as well as a habit tracking table. Extra spacing are added at the bottom of this section to provide more space for notes.
Calendar and Yearly Gantt Chart
In Take A Note's first few pages, you will see the annual calendar and the yearly Gantt chart. The annual view spans September 2024 to April 2026, making it a great tool for estimating the schedule of a project, and the unique yearly Gantt chart allows users to make note of important holidays, events, exams, and reminders from a yearly view so you can easily glance at the yearly view and remember an anniversary, for example. The boxes are also ideal for habit tracking.
Monthly Plan
Take A Note's monthly view comes with ample grid space surrounding the monthly calendar. These can be divided into different sections for different months such as monthly tasks and goals. The monthly view spans December 2024 to March 2026.
